The government are wanting to lower the term from 24 weeks in which a woman can have a termination.
I know that the majority of women don't make this decision lightly, but to me 24 weeks is far too long to wait.
When i had my youngest, there was a little boy born at 24 weeks in the same hospital and a friend of mine had her baby at 23 weeks.
I personally think that 20 weeks is too long to wait aswell, but i do realise that the parents have to have time to make sure it's the right decision.
All this said,if there was to be a medical reason for a termination after this time it would have to go ahead.
