The 50,000 stadium bit puts me off though. We don't need a bigger stadium, it would even worse if there were more empty seats.

I think you're looking at it wrong. The 50,000 seater stadium, to me, shows he's here for the long run and aiming high

It'd need to be high to fill 50k, it'll be a long long time before that sort of capacity is needed. We should cross that bridge when we come to it, concentrate on getting there first.
