I agree Dood - I think you've set just the right tone for it right from the start. This is supposed to be fun, and it is.

Part of that I think is that people here now are already fairly comfortable with each other, having already met (in cybespace, anyway), so there's less worry about making a complete tit of yourself. As the forum grows (and I've no doubt it will), there may be a need for more strict moderating etc. if only because people don't follow what this is all about. Part of the problem with MOT, I think , at the moment is that it's grown quite a lot over the last year and so the feeling of intimacy engendered (what a good word that is ) by being part of a small close-knit community is fading and the differences in opinion are becoming stronger. There's also the fact - and I've noticed this with other forums - that sometimes the original people have a tendency to kind of look down on the later entrants. I don't see that happening here, but I think it's something to watch out for.

Sorry if I've gone on a bit, but I think this has the potential to be one of the best.

So many posts on ere could be posted in this section , but the reason i chose this post was , IMO mort summed up in one post what I want to see this forum being all about , I think it is , and that is darn to you guys , cheers.
