They were indeed and have lived off that song for 2-3 years now.

They'll be in the same league as Geldof soon.

Let's face it Ben. Theyre not exactly oozing with talent are they? Theyre shit live (saw in Manchester) and only ever got anywhere on the back of a joke song.

Theyre no better than Gandolf with his Monday hating shite.
wewantourdarbyback

according to you (who also has some questionable tastes) they were brilliant live last month, fantastic show, they also put on a great performance at Glasto. And i agree (for once) with NME's rating for there album 8/10 its good stuff...

I never said they were brilliant last month at all! I've said they were shit from the day i bought their album.

Questionable taste? Libs, Strokes, White Stripes, Nirvana, Pink Floyd, Radiohead... Well excuse me for liking talented songwriters and good music over a publicity-seeking, cheesey pop group.

My last words on the subject.

Music is all-subjective to individual taste, and to the ‘slag’ off other
People’s music can be seen as puerile and obnoxious.

I'll add ‘music’ to my probable argument list along with:

1: Religion
2: Politics

Religion is complete bollocks though... But politics is supposed to be debated, that's what democracy is, if people didin't submit and challenge different views, we wouldn't be where we are today.

'Religion is complete bollocks though'
Depends who your talking to, extremist religious groups for a start

Politics is and always will be a mass-debate

Religions been the cause of more wars and deaths than anything else. It divides people, and controls lives... It creates extremists because in itself it's an extreme idea to expect people to follow one stricht set of rules while living alongside other people following an entirely different set of rules.

Complete and utter bollocks. I'm atheist btw, if you hadn't guessed.

I'm sure it will continue to be everything you say, however it doesn't change the fact that current groups live and die by their beliefs, and in my exprience if you say what your writing in the wong company your probably not see the next day, 'they' are completely unswayable in their beliefs hence the problems the UK is facing now, and being dismissive of 'religion' at such a young age, well all i can say is if you continue thinking like that we are all doomed. Being an atheist is playing in to their hands, the fact that you don't care or give a flying, is letting the current groups get the upper hand, this is clear just by looking at the new's.

If you believe in anything believe in the future and currently the future
is looking very bleak....If you are the voice of the young in the UK we are in deep deep doo-doo

My girlfriends Catholic, and she's made me understand that religion isn't all divide and conquer, mass war and preeching.

I wouldn't say she's a stricht Catholic, because by that basis, our relationship alone is a sin... But she believes in the values of it.

The problem is, people will always see these values in different ways and in some cases it becomes obsessive, and rises to an extreme level where people will go to any length to prove a point.

A world without religion would be a far better place... That's fact. I don't however disrespect anyone for believing in a religion, even though I personally see it as a complete joke.

You'll never convert me to any religion mate i assure you. I don't disrespect any religion or anyone for following one... I just don't personally agree with it.

Another major problem with religion is that religion and politics can never successfully co-exist!

If you look just below the L on your keyboard, theres a button with a '>' and a '.' on it... Clicking it makes a fullstop appear. These come in very handy in the English language

Yes... Feel free to whip Ben. I fear his pent up frustration that he lets out on me may be caused by lack of erotic activity, so by all means - Make his day!
