in the intro section there should be a thread with all the staff usernames and wether they are admins or mods etc, summit sticky so the newbies know who to talk to if theres any problems 
i will post more suggestions when and if i can be fussed

i think it would be good if for example there is an article on leeds united could people copy and paste the article word for word because it makes it easier than having to click the link to open a new page | ||||||

Problem with that is, some sites, eg Official Leeds site don't allow you to copy content! I agree though it would be handier. | ||||||

i just emailed the leeds united site asking if they would be willing to grant permission for me to copy and paste articles from thier site

well depends what their copyright status is.
They might just ask for removal of posted items or might take legal action.Most people are not too harsh and either just ask for a backlink to their site or removal of item. I very much doubt the site would get closed down.On most forums if your found out for posting copyright items you will probably be deleted as a member or banned or warned not to do it again. Basically if you have taken something someone else created, its illegal depending on permissions and copyright status. hope thats clears a bit up, its quite complicated to explain but i tried me best.

The addition of the quick reply is via the control panel (ie not the admin panel). To gain access to the control panel you need to log in using the forum owners (Woody) password. In other words, unless anyone knows woodys password, then he is the only one that can add it. |

Instead of hitting the post reply button and waiting for the box to load for you to type in... all of one second
There is a box at the bottom of the thread to type in and you just hit post reply... |
