Search for keepers of the futureFormer Swansea and Leeds United goalkeeper Glan Letheren is looking to unveil the hottest talent in West Wales via a new course.Letheren is staging a Uefa Professional License and Goalkeeping License course next month.
His aim is to find the area's young talent and develop them for the next step up.
Letheren is also benefiting from the support of former Llanelli coach Martin Evans, who is now Wales Schoolboys manager.
"I am looking for talented goalkeepers from 11-14 years of age," said Letheren.
"After four 90-minute sessions, any players showing exceptional talent will be invited to the South Wales Regional Training days, which is the first step to becoming a Welsh Schoolboy international.
"Martin has advised me that there is a shortage of young goalkeepers about and I am helping to identify young talent.
"Martin will also be attending some of the sessions."
Letheren has plenty of coaching experience, having worked with Swansea, Exeter and Leicester City and with top keepers such as Roger Freestone, Kevin Pressman and Kevin Miller.
Recently, he has helped develop Wolves stopper Wayne Hennessey into a full Welsh international while Crewe's Owain Fon Williams, Chelsea's Rhys Taylor, Swansea's David Connel and his son Kyle - who is now at Barnsley - have also benefited from his expertise.
