According to the news this morning, apparently he has not been told he only has weeks to live. The cancer is only small and he is carrying on doing his filming and normal everyday things.
Lets hope so.

Dirty Dancing star Patrick Swayze has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, his agent has confirmed.
But his doctor Dr George Fisher said reports in the US that the American actor had just five weeks to live were "absolutely untrue".
The 55-year-old star of Dirty Dancing and Ghost is said to be still working and responding well to treatment.
Dr Fisher said: "Patrick has a very limited amount of disease and he appears to be responding well to treatment thus far.
"All of the reports stating the timeframe of his prognosis and his physical side-effects are absolutely untrue.
"We are considerably more optimistic."
Swayze's agent Annett Wolf added: "Patrick is continuing his normal schedule during this time, which includes working on upcoming projects.
"The outpouring of support and concern he has already received from the public is deeply appreciated by Patrick and his family."
The star is currently working on two films, according to movie websites. Both Powder Blue and a television movie called The Beast are scheduled for release later this year.

What gets me though is you read of all these new cures all the time, yet they never seem to come through the system...I mean I am sure they are working as hard as they can on it, but I do personally feel that cancer research (being such a major killer) surely deserves government funding rather than having to rely on charities?
And I hate it when pharmaceutical companies plead poverty about drug prices, they are far from poor. I worked at a pharmaceutical plant on a project that cost thek £600million....after it was fully commissioned they had earned their £600million back within the first week!!
