One guy we want backAndy Ritchie has spoken out in defence of Leeds players criticised for not showing enough passion.
Barnsley manager Ritchie inspired his side to a second-half fightback with a half-time rollicking against his former club in the Yorkshire derby at Oakwell to send Leeds spiralling back into the bottom two.
But Ritchie, a former striker and coach at Elland Road, reckons Leeds' under-fire players were a match for his own in terms of effort in their 3-2 defeat.
"To be honest I thought they competed with us and found themselves 2-1 in front at half-time," Ritchie told PA Sport.
"But we came back out and deserved it. We took the game to them and I thought we won it rather than them throwing the towel in.
"Dennis (Wise) and Gus (Poyet) will get it right, it just takes time. I hope they will soon start climbing the table."

IMO AR is right.It does take time and i think DW is going in the right direction.Lets hope that he has taken advantage of an uninterupted week of training and that the results show on Saturday.There have been more comings and goings this week and the arrival of Matt Heath can only be a good move to either keep Butler and Killa on their toes or to replace Butler altogether.He has thought that he is Mr. Unreplaceable,thank goodness DW thinks differently
