At the bottom of everyone's post, are several buttons, including "Email" and "PM". Neither of these will post a reply on the forum itself but are means of privately contacting the person/member who posted the post.

Clicking the "Email" button will send a regular email via the forum to the member who posted on the forum. It will arrive to the person you send it to in their regular email program, eg: Outlook Express, YahooMail, etc. The contents of that email will not be visible on the forum and will only be visible to the person you send it to. When you use this feature, your email address will be visible to the person you send an email to. You can reply and communicate by regular email, as you've shared your email address with them.

"PM"
You can only access these private messages via the Forum - they will not arrive in your regular email program. To access the PM feature, click on the "X New Messages" link at the top right of each page. This will take you directly into the "Messenger" area, which is located within "My Controls". Clicking "My Controls" will take you there too. When you use PM, your email address will not be visible to the person you're sending a PM to.

Both of the above features are only available to registered members. One can only send an Email and a PM to other registered members, not to any old body.

If you want to add a reply to the post on the forum itself, use the "Add Reply" button, and your reply will be visible on the forum as part of the topic conversation.
