anyone know what happend?????EMMERDALE fans were playing a guessing game today after the Dales soap served up one of the most dramatic cliffhangers in its history.
Millions of viewers tuned in last night for a special hour-long instalment of the ITV1 drama which ended with the lives of FOUR characters hanging in the balance.
Jimmy King (Nick Miles), Diane Sugden (Elizabeth Estensen), Noreen Bell (Jenny Tomasin) and Dawn Woods (Julia Mallam) were all left trapped inside the ruins of a new show home after it was hit by a massive explosion.
Programme insiders say at least two of them won't make it out alive – but the identities of the unlucky duo remained a mystery as the closing credits rolled on yesterday's episode.
One character who was expected to perish in the blast was Sadie King, as Patsy Kensit has announced that she's giving up the role after two years playing soapland's biggest bitch.
There was a surprise in store for fans, however, when she managed to scrabble her way out of the rubble, after living up to her bad-girl billing by smashing her stricken ex-hubby Jimmy in the face with a concrete slab.
Emmerdale's producers, meanwhile, were today hoping the spectacular scenes would give them another victory in their ratings battle with BBC1's EastEnders.
does anyone know if they still have an omnibus programme???

You need to ask Cozy about how to catch sheep. He is a legend in his own lunchtime when it comes to catching sheep mate, if it was an olympic sport we have a world champion in our midst.

On an animal related thing...... When I was serving in Germany, there was a massive NATO exercise going on. We pulled up to this gated level crossing in a 432 ( armoured personnel carrier). At the front of the queue was a horse and cart, a few cars then us. At the side of the road were a few pedestrians, one had a dog.
As the barriers were down, we were all waiting for the train, obviously. During the wait, our vehicle backfired quite loudly and made all the pedestrians jump, quite funny. However, it startled the horse and this horse kept jumping up and trying to get away. All the people tried their best to calm this horse, including the chap with the dog. He tied his dogs lead to the barrier and went over to help!
During all this the train came and went, within seconds the barrier lifted. A very short time later a woman emmited a loud shrill scream. We all looked over and saw what she was screaming at. As the barrier lifted it took the dog with it. There was this dog swinging from the top of the barrier. Very very sad, as the dog had obviously been hung and had died. However, the sick shit in me can't help but smile whenever I think of that day..
