No TV for under 5'sDoctors are saying that kids under 5 who watch TV or play computer games are behind with their reading and maths!
I thought that a lot of the kids programmes aimed at this age group were mainly educational 
My 2 watched tele when they were younger and neither of them suffered with school work,in fact they got 14GCSE's between them  and my 2 oldest grandchildren both watch tele and they are both academically advanced for their ages (3&5).
What are your views on this? |

Our Bethany is 11 and glued to the tele
always has been since she was a baby Teletubbies to Tweenies Tracy Beaker to Zoe 101 and she's doing really well in school top three in her year for all subjects. Ban smoking...ban burgers...ban TV You'll be banned from thinking next! 1984...Big Brother style!

I dont agree with kids watching TV 24-7 but i think some of the programmes for them are quite educational. |

i think they start too early i some places too, i remember my little brother (now 14) started school at 4 full time, over here they go to nursery for 2 yrs 3-5 and then go full time to school |
