I don't do them any more, but sometimes I used to run a self defence seminar, and one of the first questions I'd ask the students would be 'Who here has ever been called a name?' 99% of peoples hands would go up. I looked around the hall and said, 'I see you are all still alive'. The point being a name is just a name and means nothing at all, nobody should ever get het up by being called a name. Just imagine you have been called a 'silly sausage' or a 'ninkompoop' and whatever name you were called becomes meaningless. This also means you are more alert and prepared for any physical assaults that may happen

One of my favourites is a sweep to knock them to the ground then punch them to the ground while they are still in the air, one of my specialities that, not much they can do about it

I think the wife has one knocking about somewhere, but its on the camcorder, have no idea of how to get it on the comp. Once tried a few years ago, a friend wanted me to choreograph a martial arts scene for a little movie he was making, so I got 4 of the instructors to attack me, I just said, 'do whatever you want and we'll just see what happens'. It ended up being quite good with them all landing on the deck and all with disabling clean blows, I was quited pleased with it in the end. One of the bloody kids taped over that one on some buggers wedding
