Golden RuleAnyone remember the self imposed Golden Rule of Brown?
It was when he said that only so much borrowing could be allowed.
Well, he and his toady Darling have now thrown that rule out of the window.
Watch what happens now....interest rates will go through the roof, a lot of major companies will go offshore, mortgage rates will double.
In short the one-eyed Scottish tw@ is about to fxxk this country big time.

totally agree with gaz... i used to be interested in politics, until i decided that they really are all the same when they get elected. i am not going to vote anymore, i know it sounds stupid, but it has come to that, it really doesn't matter who gets in power, they will find a way to f*ck things up...

Well, it's your choice....but remember, if you don't vote, you don't have a say in what goes on. I would also point out that it's your money they're wasting.

How do you know that? Your vote might make the difference. Much as I would like to agree with you, not ALL politicians are liars. If you don't vote then you have no right to complain about what's going on.

No, I don't suppose for one minute that your vote would stop those MPs who wish to lie from doing so...any more than mine would.
However, if you don't vote, then I repeat that you have no moral authority to complain when things are done which you don't like.
you've probably heard it before but in WW2, a lot of good men and women died, maybe even some of your relatives, to ensure that this country remained free and that democracy prevailed. I think that we owe it to those men and women to honour their commitment by using the choice they died to give us.

No not really.
As in every aspect of life, there are good and bad. I have met a good number of MPs and councillors over the years, the vast majority of them are good honest human beings who went into politics to try and actually help people.
It's easy to slag em off all the time, but give your councillors and MP a ring if you need the kind of help they can give, and you will be suprised how much they are willing to do for you.

Exactly what I tell my kids.....Emily Pankhurst chained herself to railings so women could vote.........bloody use it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
