Global Announcement????????I have to pop out for abart an hour now , when i come back i will look into this Global Announcement thingy , because if i'm right whatever you put on a Global Announcement the rest of the forums get to see it. which would be great.

In the portal you can now select:

where "my front page component" defaults to FRONTPAGE which shows latests post.
But can be any component. There are new ones which make this relevent:
TOP
STICKY
ANNOUNCE
FORUMANNOUNCE
GLOBALANNOUNCE
ARCHIVE
If you Edit an existing topic, you can set the flags for TOP or ARCHIVE.
You will also see an "Editors Choice" flag at the moment, but this is not in use. |

BTW it does say that GA's will be posted on all forums , which from what I can see is many 100's , so it might be just what you are looking for.
