Leeds United failed to meet the requirements to obtain the 'golden share' allowing them to play in the Football League. The FL made a special case and allowed them to compete, but with a 15 point penalty. The FL could have quite easily told Leeds where to go without bending over backwards to help them. As much as the fans would like to think, Leeds are NOT a big club any more. They are playing in the third tier of English football. I know it's not going to happen, but the arbitration committee should impose a further 10 point ban on Leeds for having the cheek to try and get the 15 points overturned. These are the 15 points that Master Bates agreed to being docked when he signed the agreement allowing Leeds to play in the FL.
