mine is Blackpool if I'm looking for a mad time , and Filey if i just want to escape

i love newquay, just summat about the place that makes me feel real chilled out.
only ever been to blackpool twice and got totally pissd on both occasions

I love Blackpool!
I used to go with work mates (when i worked at the hospital) for the day ie set off about 8-30am and get home 2am We had a great time and were kids through the day and enjoyed the drinking at night

I love Whitby... infact any East Coast resort... ......... Newquay is lovely aswell.....

haven't been to any of them  would love to visit scarborough though as i've heard it has many fine attractions...

I hate blackpool, and sorry Paul not too keen on Scarboro anymore - have fond memories of Dawlish (Devon) from when I was a kid and spend a lot of time at Runswick BAy in recent years. Robin Hoods Bay is good too

no worries mate
when was the last time you visited cause they have spent hundreds of thousands of pounds doing the seafront up it does look much better now i have to say so myself

We went to Blackpool last year... stayed overnight... wasn't impressed, I have to say...   ...... and even our kids weren't .. definately prefer our East coast....

Whitby is nice.I love the scenic route through Goathlands on the way to it,but hubby screwed his face up and wouldn't stop

did the rail trail walk from goathland to grosmont a couple of weeks back - quality - stop at smallest pub in northern england en route for a pint
Paul - mate - was in scarboro 2 weeks back - doesn't seem to have changed since I was a kid tbh I would go more often as we camp over that way a fair bit - its the missus who drags me elsewhere
