It's happened a few times - people start thinking it's the real world and when it lets them down........
Some people aren't equipped to handle it - it's just more public now

Yeah, I saw it on the news this morning - said people were encouraging him (because they thought it was a wind up) When they realised he weren't kidding, they called 999, but they got there too late.
Also said he was severely depressed, split with his wife, his father had died recently and he was drinking too much. Guess that explains his depreeion, but to inflict it on other people was pretty nasty. Revenge kinda thing? I don't know.
