Dalglish trialing at LeedsSTRIKER Paul Dalglish - the son of Liverpool legend Kenny - is having a trial at Leeds United.
The 30-year-old played in last night's 3-0 reserve team win over Rotherham and is vying for a deal with the ambitious League One club.
The much-travelled front man has played for Celtic, Liverpool, Newcastle United, Norwich City, Blackpool, Linfield, Modena, Livingston and Hibernian before joining MLS team Houston Dynamo last season.
He has also had loan spells with Bury, Wigan Athletic and Scunthorpe United.
A deal under new Leeds Boss Gary McAllister would offer him a way back into English football.

I agree, he gets found out then moves on... says it all for me the number of clubs he's had.
Didn't realise he was 30 though, his auld man must be mid 50's right enough, makes me feel old as well

Thats exactly what I said earlier
I'd have Kenny even now...I remember going to see Peter Lorimers testimonial, the old Leeds team played an all star team with the likes of Jimmy Greaves etc in....even though they were all fairly old they could still play, they really could.

Leeds not interested in Dalglish deal
Former Newcastle forward Paul Dalglish has failed to secure a contract with Leeds after failing to impress in a trial with the League One side.
Dalglish is a free agent after leaving Major League Soccer side Houston Dynamo last year.
He has been training with Wigan in recent weeks and was invited for a trial by Leeds boss Gary McAllister.
But McAllister has decided not to pursue his interest in Dalglish and the 30-year-old is now set to move back to his native Scotland.
"I know (Wigan boss) Steve Bruce and Eric Black very well and they were saying he looked pretty sharp but he wasn't going to affect their set-up," McAllister told the Yorkshire Evening Post.
"With us being two divisions below Wigan I thought we'd have a wee look, but we've decided his fitness levels aren't where we want them.
"He's going to take up an option in Scotland and it's something we'll keep an eye on."
