Grange Hill, one of the longest-running kids' programmes ever, is ending.
The show, which has been on BBC1 for a whopping 30 years, will finish after the 31st series later this year.

Grange Hill is seen as an important kids' programme because it's dealt with some really serious issues over the years - like drugs, Aids and bullying.

A CBBC spokesperson said: "The lives of children have changed a great deal since Grange Hill began and we owe it to our audience to reflect this."

"Of course it's sad to say goodbye to such a much loved institution."

The programme is set in a school and is filmed in Liverpool. It's been on TV for longer than any other children's drama ever in the UK.

Loads of young actors who started on Grange Hill have gone on to become really famous.

Lots of them went on to star in EastEnders including Patsy Palmer and Sean Maguire.

Celebs like Antony Costa from boyband Blue, model Naomi Campbell and ER actress Alex Kingston all had small parts in the show too.

Grange Hill was created by a man called Phil Redmond who also made shows like Hollyoaks and Brookside - a soap which used to be on Channel 4.

It hit the headlines in 1986 when one of the show's main characters, called Zammo, took drugs and was seriously ill. It was the first time a children's programme in the UK had shown such a hard-hitting issue.
