the link didn't work for me so i didn't read the story, but was she hypnotized? cause i know that is possible for childbirth and dental surgeries, etc. my mom was hypnotized when she gave birth to me, she didn't need any drugs or anything, she could experience everything without pain

yeah, it's really interesting. it's all about the power of your own mind and your thoughts. you can learn to hypnotize yourself too, that's what my mom did. she told me that the weeks before i was born her doctor hypnotized her and taught her. she said it's even simple things like imagining your arms have very heavy weights on them and then the weight are taken away. you feel your arms rising when the fake weights are lifted off. hypnotism can actually help with all sorts of things... stopping smoking, losing weight. it's really mind over matter.
