Leicester manager Rob Kelly has leant his support to the club's "Sea of Blue" campaign.

The Foxes are calling on supporters to help make the Walkers Stadium a fortress this season and create a wall of colour by wearing blue at every home game.

City play in front of their own fans for the first time this term against the Clarets and Kelly believes the Foxes faithful have a huge part to play in helping the team get off the mark this season following Saturday's opening day defeat at Luton.

"The more people who turn up wearing blue the better. We want to begin the season on a high note and the fans can play their part by getting into the spirit of things," Kelly told the club's official website.

"That doesn't necessarily mean they have to go out and buy our new home shirt, anything blue they can get their hands on would be most appreciated.

"We want to make the Walkers Stadium as intimidating as possible. We want to make it a fortress and a really difficult place for opposing teams to come and play. It's our patch and we want to reward everyone with some good results."
