Some people can be so cruel Jo, I really feel for you, bloody idiots grrrr. I got bullied a lot about being tall, not only that, younger girls and much smaller girls, would single me out and hit me to make them look bigger in front of their mates. On top of that I had a mentally and physically abusive father who would often use me as a punchbag, so having no confidence in sticking up for myself really made it worse. But at the end of the day we survived Jo and heaven help anyone who tried to bully me now. So I'm tall? I can't do anything about that! so sod em all eh.
Funny how all kids are different eh Bravo? coming from the same parents. My 16 year old, is a lot older in his ways than most of his mates, being 6 foot 6 tall, he gets treat as older too. He did have a wobbly phase at 14-15 where he thought he was grown up, we soon put him right. At the moment, he's not too bad, he's been out with mates who drink a lot in parks, but soon found out they only wanted him coz he looked old enough to go buy the booze from the offy, and he never once came home pissed, and soon stopped hanging around with them. He does seem to have a sensible head on his shoulders (most of the time lol)
My 14 year old, needs some confidence too like your 13 yr old. He's well liked, but doesn't like to put himself up front, he tends to hang back. Hopefully that will change as he goes into adulthood
