well depends what their copyright status is.

They might just ask for removal of posted items or might take legal action.Most people are not too harsh and either just ask for a backlink to their site or removal of item.

I very much doubt the site would get closed down.On most forums if your found out for posting copyright items you will probably be deleted as a member or banned or warned not to do it again.

Basically if you have taken something someone else created, its illegal depending on permissions and copyright status.

if i remember corectly steve asked me to delete it either it slowed forum down or members didnt like it, or both

Instead of hitting the post reply button and waiting for the box to load for you to type in... all of one second

There is a box at the bottom of the thread to type in and you just hit post reply...
