Take That frontman Gary Barlow's forthcoming autobiography is reportedly having to be "sexed up", as the first draft is apparently too dull.
The book, submitted by the clean-cut star, has made little impression on editors at popukar publishing house Bloomsbury.
The hitmaker signed a £1 million book deal earlier in the year, as Bloomsbury were confident Barlow would tell a salacious tale of his stormy relationship with Robbie Williams.
Unfortunately the reality is not so sensational.
An insider told a daily newspaper, "Sexing up the draft is proving hard work."
To provide an example, the source claims the book includes the following reflection, "One day, he recalls, he was walking down the road and he wanted to spit out his chewing gum.
"Instead he found a piece of paper and wrapped it up in his pocket. That's when he realised he was a good citizen.
"I wish I was joking, but this isn't funny."
who would want his book , sexed up or not?????
