Roy Keane admits he wishes he could play a part in next week's Champions League clash between Manchester United and Celtic.

The new Sunderland manager was forced to hang up his boots in the summer when a hip injury denied him the chance to see out the final year of his contract with the Scottish champions.

And he says a return to Old Trafford, after 12 years at Manchester United, is one he would have relished.

"I knew that fixture was going to come out of the Champions League draw," he said.

"I had a feeling in my gut that United would get Celtic but I have to look on it as history as far as I'm concerned.

"If I am being truthful, I would admit that it has played on my mind maybe once or twice.

"But you have to move on, don't you?

"I've got a busy week here and we have a game on Wednesday so I won't even get to see the Old Trafford game on television. That's the way life works out."

Your job is to take Sunderland darn , sumat you will do with ease I hope , carry on the good work.

not that I have owt against sunderland, but I hope they drop another league under the thug. That way he should, hopefully, fade in to the distance, like the bad smell of shit he really is!!!!!
