Wembley may not host next season's FA Cup final after Australian construction firm Multiplex revealed the stadium may not be finished until June next year. The stadium was due to open at the beginning of the year but has been beset by a series of delays.
There is now confusion over when exactly it will be ready for action.
The venue's owners, Wembley National Stadium Limited (WNSL), insist the rebuilt stadium will be open for business by the end of the year.

said the stadium is unlikely to be finished this year.
"Unless and until WNSL hold and successfully complete this series of test events, and obtain the required approvals, Multiplex will be prevented from achieving practical completion," a statement read.
"The analysis has been reviewed with an expert in the operation of major stadia and indicates that it is unlikely that the stadium will be able to hold a test event for 90,000 spectators before June 2007."
Despite this, the Football Association said it remained confident Wembley can be ready for this season's FA Cup Final.
"This is of course dependent on when stadium constructors Multiplex meets all of its contractual obligations," a statement said.
Is it just me or is the whole Wembley affair making our country look like a laffin stock , the whole saga goes from bad to worse it seems , I do find it strange they have the goalposts up before the bloody building is finished , why??
