Help for Heroes

On 20th September, there'll be a charity rugby match at Twickenham in aid of the Help for Heroes appeal. If you don't know what this is all about then please go to......... www.helpforheroes.org.uk

If you've got some spare cash then please, please, please consider a donation.

There were actually complaints from offended people that our badly injured soldiers had the temerity to use a public swimming pool and it's a sad reflection of this government's attitude to our wounded troops that public donations are the only way of helping them to get such a basic thing as a swimming pool.

A British woman has paid 1.5 million pounds in a charity auction to fly with the Royal Air Force’s aerobatic Red Arrows display jets, the Help for Heroes charity said on Monday.

Julie Heselden’s winning bid gives her and eight family members or friends the opportunity to fly in the nine famous display Hawk jets after the Royal Air Force put the Red Arrows up for auction for the first time.

Just received an e-mail from the organisers of H4H.
They say that they've raised 12 million pounds. They've allocated 10 million already. So, to those of you who donated your hard earned dough...on their behalf....a big thank you.
