With the impending closure of analogue.

I've got a fellow in today to put up two digital aerials, splitting into two rooms upstairs and two downstairs rooms.

£220 !!!

I expect nearer the time, the time the prices will be going up,
supply and demand an' all that but £220, d'oh.

It is expensive.. and they got you by the short and curlys really.. when we moved house, we had to re-do the digital aerials... but a flutter of my eyelashes worked a treat... because we were waiting for keys, this verrrry nice guy.. said he wouldnt charge me by the hour, if I made him a cuppa tea.. needless to say he got his tea!!! hmmm

And he reduced my bill, as I was such a good customer, and the job was easier than he thought.. Still parted with £180 thou...but I think I will use him next time !!

Prices are more likely to go down actually. As more and more people require them, companies will start ordering more and more, which will make each individual aerial cheaper (bulk buying.) Plus, the more demand there is, the more companies there'll be fitting them, which will mean all the companies will be in competition with one another for the cheapest deal.

Better to just get Sky, they install free.

its the phone calls that are expensive - and they keep overloadin the system so the broadband don't work - 1st six months was terrible

Was on Telewest cable, switched to sky which was shite and went back to cable, Virgin

Looks like my surround speakers are going in the dining room now

Ive had so much trouble with SKY, the tv package is good, but the broadband is dire.... just changed over to AOL !!! gotta wait 7 days thou.. not too badly priced.

i have a freeview box but just an ordinary ariel.....does this mean i will have to have a digital ariel installed ?
