Chester boss Mark Wright will be without Ricky Ravenhill for the imposing Carling Cup trip to Elland Road to face Leeds United on Tuesday.
The midfielder, on-loan from Doncaster Rovers, starts a three-match ban after he was sent off in the 2-1 defeat by Wrexham at the weekend.
Sean Hessey serves the final instalment of a five-game suspension and fellow defender Phil Bolland (shoulder) is unlikely to feature.
Midfielder Dean Bennett missed the Wrexham clash with a back problem that makes him a doubt again, but wing-back Kevin Sandwith (hamstring) could be in contention.
However, midfielder Glenn Cronin (foot) is still on the sidelines.
Leeds will be without Steve Stone as he's been ruled out for up to eight weeks with a groin injury.
Manager Kevin Blackwell will name two youngsters on the bench for the first-round clash, Danny Rose and Jonathan Howson, and they could make their first senior appearances.
Former Wealdstone striker Jermaine Beckford is also expected to be handed a run-out.
On-loan Fulham goalkeeper Tony Warner does not have permission to play, but number one Neil Sullivan has shaken off a leg injury and will make his first start of the season.
Predictions purleeeeeez??
Im think we will jusr knick it 1-0 , but it will be close , very close.
