LEEDS United are breathing a sigh of relief after goalkeeper Casper Ankergen escaped a suspension after admitting throwing an object, believed to be a cigarette lighter, at Swindon Town supporters last month.
He was fined £750 by the Football Association and warned about his future conduct.

United had feared the former Danish Under-21 international might be banned, hitting their League One promotion hopes. He has missed only three League games this season - all of which Leeds lost.

Ankergren, 28, apologised for his actions and, in a statement, the FA said: "The commission took into consideration his immediate admission of the charge, his apology, and his previous disciplinary record.

"They also took into consideration the provocation of objects being thrown onto the pitch during the second half of the game."

but where did the lighter come from in the first place??

maybe he took it to light his cigars whilst watching the leeds attack batter the opposition
