Born and bred in Leeds, now live in Stockton, but working in Leeds atm
Been a Leeds fan since I was knee high to a grasshopper, used to go to every game home and away in the days when it was affordable to do that.
Best match I saw was the 2nd leg (out of three legs) of Leeds v Stuttgart, remember that one? Classic.
Worst match was Stoke v Leeds (at Stoke) on boxing day 1986 (or 1987 not sure which), we got beat 7-2, but the atmosphere was class. 4,000 Leeds fans cheering the Stoke goals in the end more than their fans were.

Did you go to Peter Lorimers testimonial, I remember there were 15,444 fans that night, strange how some stuff you remember and other stuff disappears.
Some of the lads at work are staying in Peter Lorimers pub, they see him every day. They hadn't even heard of him! Getting their breakfast served by a legend, just aint right. |

I think alot of fans take a dim view of him now after the takeover bollox ,which is a shame cos he was a great player ans servant of LUFC.
me i saw him play in the 80's , still class even then.

He once cracked the ball that hard that the keeper saved it but it knocked him off his feet and threw him into the back of the net LOL.
What a player that man was. Now serving breakfast to some nufters that I work with |
