Back from Nottingham where I went to see Babyshambles on their now ended arena tour and it was ******* ace. Say what you like about Pete, but that bloke knows how to get a crowd singing... It was probably the best gig I've attended since The Libertines. I got hit in the eye by a rubber bottle of Stella, everyone left battered and brusied and completely soaked, I've completely lost my voice, ruined a £65 Lambretta top and really couldn't give a ****. It was immense!
Pete now sober again was totally professional, and played every song perfectly... The crowd were ace, and I can't wait til Babyshambles next tour. You've never lived til you've seen these live, they're ******* class!

Yeah, it's a sad state of affairs. Leeds is a massive, booming city, with great bars, clubs, a massive university and no arena. It's bizarre.
